Maasai Mara
One of the Greatest Wildlife Reserves in the World
Maasai Mara – Kenya’s Greatest Safari Destination
The Maasai Mara (Masai Mara) in south-west Kenya is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves and, in our opinion, one of the most extraordinary safari destinations left on earth. Together with the Serengeti National Park (SerengetiNationalPark.com) in Tanzania, it forms an immense eco-system that delivers some of the best big game viewing anywhere in the world.
WHY MaasaiMara.com?
MaasaiMara.com was created to help travellers discover and understand one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations. Unlike many travel websites, we are not tied to a single safari company or lodge.
Our aim is to provide honest, independent information and connect you with trusted safari specialists who can help plan the safari that is right for you.
Founded by Johann and Samantha du Toit, both Kenyan Professional Safari Guides, MaasaiMara.com combines decades of first-hand safari experience, local knowledge, and a genuine passion for Kenya's wildlife and conservation.
We believe that informed travellers make better decisions, which is why we focus on providing reliable information, expert advice, and access to some of the best safari specialists in East Africa.
Built by Kenyan safari guides. Trusted by travellers. Dedicated entirely to the Maasai Mara.
